all medical cases.
- Physician Networks. You need physician networks with good
communication, coordination, known treatment skills, knowledge of

- Supervisory Training. Supervisors must know how to deal with
the injured employee. They need to understand the injury and
limitations and how to motivate an injured employee.
- Return to Work Programs. These programs establish a strong
transitional duty program.
- Returning an injured employee. Try to return an injured
employee back to work as soon as medically possible.
- Medical Cost Management Tools. Utilization reviews
minimize unnecessary or duplicate care and financial costs.
